On October 7, 2012, the Royal Heritage Society mounted a joint celebration of British and German heritage at Ormiston Mansion.  An oompah band provided rollicking good music, and all sorts of delicious ethnic food was shared.  RHS Board Member Stewart Patrick donated many interesting art pieces that were sold through a very successful silent auction.

A festive and sumptuous buffet was enjoyed - wurst, potato pancakes, sauerkraut and general Gemuetlichkeit
In good German style, plates were cleaned by the happy diners.
